5. Where data is stored and transfers outside the EU
Data is stored primarily on servers within the EU/EEA. Some of the services we use, such as analytics, marketing and messaging services, may also process data outside the EU/EEA. In that case the transfer is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard permitted by the GDPR.

8. Cookies and marketing
The site uses cookies for functionality, statistics and marketing. Essential cookies, such as those needed for the shopping cart and login, are always active. Statistics and marketing cookies are loaded only with your consent. You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time in the site’s cookie settings.
You can subscribe to our newsletter by giving a separate marketing consent. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
9. Review photos and their use in marketing
You may attach photos or videos to your review. We publish them on the product page alongside your review as part of our service.
On the review form you can also give separate consent for us to use the photos you add in our marketing and on our social media channels, such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest. This consent is optional: you can submit your review without it, and it does not affect whether your review is published.
The legal basis for this marketing use is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). We do not publish your contact details alongside the photos. If identifiable people appear in the photo, you are responsible for having the right to provide it to us.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the controller named in section 1. After withdrawal we will remove the photos from our marketing materials and from the social media channels we control within a reasonable time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it. We cannot remove photos from third-party posts outside our control.
We retain the record of your consent together with the review for as long as the review remains published.
10. Data security
We treat your data confidentially. Traffic to the online store is protected with SSL encryption. Access is limited to those people who need it to perform their duties, and our systems are protected with usernames, passwords and technical safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy, for example when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top.
12. Social media publishing tools
We use our own internally-developed software to publish our marketing content to our own social media accounts. This tool accesses only accounts owned and operated by Hei Aurora (T:mi New Route); it does not access, collect, or process any data belonging to our customers or to other users of those platforms.
The tool uses the official APIs of Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok. It stores only the authorisation tokens required to publish to our own accounts, together with the publication records (date, platform and post identifier) of our own content. These tokens are stored encrypted on our own server within the EU and are never shared with third parties.
Our use of YouTube API Services is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke this application’s access to Google account data at any time via the Google security settings page.
No customer data is transmitted to these platforms through this tool beyond the marketing content we publish ourselves.
