This personalised insulated flask is a 500 ml double-walled vacuum flask made of stainless steel, with a copper layer inside the wall structure. We engrave a name, a date or a short message of up to 100 characters onto the side. It costs €44.90, and engraving, the gift box and delivery anywhere in Finland are all included in that price.

It is built for a long day rather than a short walk: hot in the morning, refilled with cold water after lunch, and carried upright in a bag or a backpack side pocket.

What the copper layer does

What separates this personalised insulated flask from a plain steel bottle is the wall itself: there is no air between the inner and outer walls, and the inner wall is copper plated. According to the manufacturer, drinks stay hot for at least 12 hours and cold for 48 hours with the lid screwed on tight.

In other words this is a copper lined bottle in the engineering sense, not in the decorative one: the copper plating belongs to the insulation, and it is not the colour of the flask. The manufacturer states that the flask is made of stainless steel and that the material is BPA-free.

One practical effect of good insulation in this climate: the outside stays dry with ice water inside, so nothing in your bag gets damp from condensation.

Wash by hand in warm water with a mild detergent and leave it to dry with the cap off. Avoid abrasive pads so that the surface and the engraving stay sharp. It is not suitable for the microwave or the freezer.

Delivery and returns

We engrave in Finland, and orders are handed over to the carrier within 1–3 business days. Delivery to your nearest pickup point is free anywhere in Finland. We do not promise that, because the manufacturer does not state it. The cap screws shut, but we recommend carrying the flask upright.

Is it dishwasher safe?

The manufacturer does not list it as dishwasher safe, so we recommend washing it by hand. That also protects the finish and the engraving.

Can I return a personalised insulated flask?

Not under the usual 14-day right of withdrawal, because it is engraved with your own message (Finnish Consumer Protection Act, chapter 6, section 16). Faults on our side are always put right: if there is a manufacturing or paint fault, if the engraving does not match your order, or if the flask is damaged in transit, we repair it, send a new one or refund you.
